Les Assembleurs Garibaldi

We are tourists and came because we were interested in the place. A customer was standing at the bar, taking a few long minutes to pay – probably a group bill – so we stood in front of the bar, waiting to ask if we could sit down, if someone would come over to us, or if we could have take a menu to the table. It took a few minutes; the lad behind the bar didn’t even look at us, whilst another member of staff at the desk was talking to that customer. Suddenly, just as she’d finally paid and it was our turn, another customer went straight up to the staff at the till. After the previous customer had left, the staff member didn’t look at us either and attended to the man who’d pushed in ahead of us.

Bit sad.
